Michelle Miller

Born in Canada, Michelle's love for movement and exercise began at a young age in professional dance. She started practicing yoga in 1998 in LA. Michelle's passion is to connect with people. She lives to share her knowledge and experiences to help those on their path of self-discovery and personal growth. She successfully completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training program in May 2015, led by Johnna Smith and Maria Lages. She is grateful for her wonderful husband and 2 beautiful children who fill her heart with love.

Maria Lages

Maria was born in Rio de Janeiro and raised in the mountains of Minas Gerais, Brazil. She opened Om Yoga in 2010. Maria completed her first 200 hour Yoga Certification with her beloved teacher, Grace Morales, in 2008. She traveled to India to study Ashtanga Yoga in Mysore with V. Sheshadri in 2012, completed a 500hr certification with Johnna Smith in 2015, and her Prenatal Yoga Certification with Amani Murray in 2017. Maria credits her entrepreneurial success to being incredibly passionate about making a difference in other people's lives. She encourages everyone who is a part of the Om Yoga community to incorporate and convey values such as compassion, mindfulness, integrity, and purpose in their daily work and in their relationships with others. "My goal is to provide a peaceful and supportive space for people to breathe, move, and connect." 

 

Rodolfo Tandazo

Rodolfo discovered yoga in 2014 while training with the Miami City Ballet School and continued his yoga practice while dancing professionally with Ballet Austin. Practicing yoga daily helped him cope with the constant stress and demands of being a ballet dancer. It has taught him how to embrace, trust, and send love to every part of himself. Rodolfo’s teaching is inspired by the idea that each time we step onto our mats, we are choosing the practice of creating space to slow down, turn inward, reconnect and explore. He combines alignment and flow to empower students to grow in their practice, inviting fluid movements, strength and grace.

Intermediate flow, combining basic and advanced poses and offering modifications. This is a well balanced class and great way to increase your heart rate, expand lung capacity, improve balance, strengthen core muscles and increase flexibility. Get a great balanced practice in just an hour!
