Dawn's yoga practice started when a fellow runner suggested that she check out yoga to help improve her run performance. Her initial reaction was, “Yea, like yoga will really help my run." Reluctantly, she tried yoga. She instantaneously fell in love with the practice. Not only did it help with her performance, but it was also an amazing work out that helped with mind, body, and soul. Her yoga practice became her escape from the stresses of life. Dawn decided to deepen her practice by completing her 200-hour teacher certification with Maria Lages and Johnna Smith at Om Yoga. She is also a holistic life coach and in the process of becoming a Mind, Body, and Fitness coach. When Dawn is not doing yoga, she loves to run, read, and spend time with family and her wonderful rescue dog, Zoie. She also loves everything that is nature and being outdoors.
Jaimis, a certified Rocket Vinyasa teacher (E-RYT 500), is dedicated to sharing yoga teachings to empower, love, connect with, and inspire those around her. She has had the great honor of studying with many incredible teachers along the path: Shiva Rea, Maria Garre, Andrew McAuley, Hilly Flora, and Ben Heath. Jaimis is currently studying The Rocket Progressive Ashtanga Vinyasa with David C. Kyle. She believes we are all students and all teachers, so she continues her yoga and self-studies at every opportunity. Jaimis is an ambassador for Lululemon Athletica and spends as much time as possible in handstands, the sunshine, living in the moment, and practicing compassion, love, and yoga in all forms. Her classes are powerful yet playful, and always full of opportunities to get upside-down. It’s her wish that students leave feeling inspired and with a deeper sense of trust in who they truly are.
