 200hr Teacher Training Certification 


This teacher training program is for yoga students and experienced teachers who are ready to deepen their understanding of the yoga practice and themselves. Join others like you to rediscover and expand the inner wisdom and intuition you already have to confidently lead others from distraction to direction in their own lives!


In this training, you will practice daily power vinyasa flow yoga along with meditation and pranayama. We will detox, clean out and purify our bodies and minds, which will lead to less stress, better sleep, better love life, a more connected and creative life.  This style of practice leads to a life with a deep sense of purpose, confidence and joy. We will learn and grow our tools of yoga, experience hands on techniques and gain the knowledge to teach a dynamic, passionate power vinyasa yoga class.










Johnna Smith

Johnna has been studying yoga since 1995. She is a teacher of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Tantra, and has spent the last 10 years traveling regularly to India to practice with the late, legendary Guru Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois, and his grandson R. Sharath, of Mysore.  She also is a student of Yoga Rupa Rod Stryker, founder of ParaYoga (2001 – present) who is considered to be one of the preeminent yoga and meditation teachers in the United States. She also trained as an apprentice, with Michael Gannon (2009 – present) and then with Baron Baptiste from 2006 – 2009. Johnna has studied extensively with some of the world’s best yoga teachers including David Swenson, John Scott, Brian Kest and Baron Baptiste. Her teaching reflects the essence of these influences. She is currently studying Ayurveda, the sister healing science to Yoga, with her teacher Dr. Marc Halpern from the California College of Ayurveda. In 2001 Johnna realized that in this lifetime she wanted to wake up to her true purpose. A part of that journey has been to travel all over the world, and to go deeper into her own love of yoga, exploring new places, and teaching and in doing so, find the thread that connects them all. She has been teaching workshops, retreats and as a guest teacher, internationally since 2006. Johnna wishes to share the teachings of yoga in a way that inspires people to develop a passion and love for the practice. She incorporates the philosophy of yoga into her talks, devotional songs and meditations, so that the deeper aspects of the yoga tradition can connect people and bring them closer together.






 Maria Lages 

Maria completed her first 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification with Grace Morales in May of 2008 and her 500 hour Certification with Johnna Smith in May 2015. She has also attended master classes and workshops led by Rolf Gates, Stephanie Keach, Baron Baptise and Rod Stryker.  In November of 2011 she opened Om Yoga, a community minded yoga studio in Fort Mill SC. In 2012 Maria traveled to Mysore India and studied with V. Sheshadri, a very experienced and well known Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga teacher. Maria leads international yoga retreats and corporate wellness programs. She teaches workshops both at the studio and in office settings. In Maria's class you will find a practice that cultivates a healthy balance between effort and ease while building strength and increasing flexibility.

Payment Options:

$500 Deposit (Non-refundable. This guarantees your registration) 
$2,200 Full Price + 500 Deposit (Students must pay in full by January 20th 2015 in order to start training on January 23rd of 2015)
* We accept Cash, Checks and credit Cards. 

Payment Plan: $500 deposit. A $500 monthly payment will be drawn every month for 5 months (Jan-May). This is contract agreement with Om Yoga. If your full tuition (3,000.000) is not received by the end of the 200hr training you will not receive your training certification. Please e-mail to set up your payment plan.
